Shogun Restaurant: Exquisite Japanese Dining Experience

Food here is fantastic ! Way better than Benihana. Prices are good, especially during the lunch hours.

Nice experience at Shogun La Verne. Hostess was friendly, got seated right away at the grill with our party. Nice gentlemen was our server who was very attentive. Meal was cooked to our liking and the birthday celebration song was great. I like the entrance of this Shogun. Will return!

Went for the lunch special and had a great time!! Idk why the ratings are so low bc like it's teppanyaki babes what r u expecting lol but this was very much everything I was expecting. It was actually nicer than I had expected! Great show and big portions for lunch special (for me). Staff were very friendly and well skilled. I personally had a great time bc I haven't gone to one of these since middle school for bday parties, so basically my expectations for low/realistic. Real ones know exactly what I'm talking about

Our family loves shogun! It has never disappointed and there's variety for everyone in the family. We always walk right in and never have an issue with anything. Prices are more than reasonable for hibachi. The food is always fresh & delicious. Parking lot is spacious and safe. Service is always on point and nothing to complain about. The chefs are funny and keep the family well entertained. We love the semi dark ambiance. It's one of those places you can never go wrong with.

I have not dined in yet, but I have placed a few to go orders. So far my experience has been good. Courteous service and the food was nice and hot, packed well. It does seem like you would need to make a reservation, because it seems busy .

I've been coming to Shogun ever since I was a kid and I feel like their standards have never changed. I've always experienced top notch service with great food and I can say that is exactly what we got today for my brother's birthday. Today we received Jerry as our chef and he was just amazing! He was super kind and cool talking with my family. It was awesome to hear his backstory on how he made his way into his cooking career and how much he loves his job. Even after many years, it's still very fun to see the tricks that every chef does and the fun jokes they put into making our food. I ordered the filet mignon combination with the samurai shrimp and I also ordered the sashimi assortment appetizer. I definitely recommend the combination meals as they also come with a soup, salad, and your choice of fried or white rice. So although it may seem pricey, it's definitely worth your buck! Thank you shogun for your amazing service throughout the years!
